Some Glitter is a ten-track, low-fi recording. The material was written in my early twenties after I lost my cat, and around the time I traveled from Boston to Arizona. I visited my friend Seth Faergolzia while he was producing his musical, Fun Wearing Underwear in Purchase, NY. Inspired by Faergolzia I wrote the majority of the material on the album there at Purchase College. I traveled to Arizona by train and on the observatory deck, I wrote the lyrics to Laughing for Pete's Sake. I moved into an artists studio in my friend's backyard in Prescott where Some Glitter was born. Everything was recorded on a Tascam four-track.
